About Me
I’m Sherie B. Ellison, a social worker, author, and community advocate with more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities. My work has focused on helping people access resources, strengthening connections, and making room for voices that are too often overlooked.
I write under the name sherie b. ellison. My first book, Echoes of Wisdom: Lessons That Shape Our Lives, grew from conversations about the lessons we carry and pass down. My upcoming memoir, After the Condolences: A Memoir of Grief, Faith, and What Comes After, explores my experience of losing my mother and living with her absence.
I’m also the creator and host of After the Condolences: A Conversation Series, where people can share their experiences of grief and discuss the emotional and practical realities of loss.
